Default Phone storage

My Evo Shift has been using alot of memory since the new update about a month ago... I manually went through and deleted all the Picture messages in my Text message history and freed up a huge amount of space but that only lasted about a week and then im out of interal space again.. No my phone is not rooted.. I already know about moving some apps to the sd card which i have done.. I downloaded Apps 2 Sd and nothing I have on my phone could be moved ( I mean apps I had not already moved.) I have removed almost EVERY application I had installed on the Phone but that did not help either. However when I click on the Low space warning icon and go to manage apps, my Contact Storage is taking up 153mb.. THATS HUGE!! Why is my contact stroage taking up so much space.. It never did that before the recent update.. Is there a Setting I am missing, Or something I need to do to correct this.. I am synced to Facebook for HTC sense.., Facebook has about 2000 contacts, My Phone has 680, and I was synced to Google mail which untill 2 weeks ago my account had over 40,000 emails in it.. But none of that affected my phone before.. ANd im synced to Hotmail as well which I have probably 6,000+ contacts... DO i need all y contacts.. yes there is possibility only about 400 contacts I never talk to on a regular basis. Anyway.. THe point im making is Before this recent update, I never had a memory issue and since then I have.. Am I missing something!!

The HTC EVO Shift 4G is an intermediate release in the EVO series. It's a phone aimed at the entry level market and while it may not be as powerful as its predecessor, it's no less deserving of its name. The EVO Shift 4G is essentially Spri... Read More
