Default 'Mail' taking up OVER 200MB of space

Ok, so I'm frustrated. I have an HTC Evo Shift and the default 'Mail's app Is taking up over 200MB of space. I need to get this cleared out for space. I cant clear cache or delete anything else with this app because its all greyed out. Any tips or ideas on what I can do?

Hi Atlantisaak and welcome to Android Forums. You should be able to open your mail app and check mark the box beside the mail you want to delete. Delete should be an option at the bottom of your phone. You will also want to open the sent folder and clean it out as well. If you have multiple mail accounts, you will need to do the same for each. Also be aware that though deleted, the messages are now in the trash folder. You will want to open the trash folder and you will find a empty trash option.
