I just got the phone and have been looking at some neat accessories for it. Already have a case, spare battery (on the way) so what are some fascinating accessories you have bought for your evo?
The car dock is nice, and the Anker batteries rock, but the best accessory is the standard HTC OEM dock. The phone slides right in making charging easy and looks nice as a bedside alarm.

I really hope this anker battery is worth is cause this OEM battery is killing me (lol) since all I use is the internet for like ten minutes...*sigh. That dock sounds really nice. I'll have to check it out for sure.
Does the Desk Dock and Car Dock fit with a case? Like an Otterbox Commuter?
I don't think it will. My car dock fits the phone really snuggly, and I certainly couldn't leave my otterbox on. I can't speak for the desk dock though.
Dumb question but when you insert the phone into the car dock, is it supposed to automatically launch the 'dock' user-interface? I have the HTC OEM car dock and when I insert the phone nothing happens, other than charging that is.
A car charger and a couple extra wall chargers! My Evo typically gets plugged in for some period of time two or three times a day, otherwise it won't make it. I know a lot of people prefer to carry spare batteries, I just keep a few chargers in places where I tend to be stationary for an hour+ each day.

It may seem a little "ghetto" but I use a $12 car windshield holder (that came with a car charger also) from Amazon. My office furniture is flat enough for the car dock to stick to it. I have plenty of a/c cords or use the USB to PC for power, then go to "dock mode" You can't even really tell the holder is made for a windshield since it folds pretty low to the desk. Plus it's adjustable so I can still keep my case on.
The HTC EVO V 4G is Virgin Mobile's first 4G WiMAX Android device. And if it looks familiar, it is because the phone is the same as the EVO 3D, but optimized for this network.
