Seen a post over on XDA that HTC have stated there will not be an ICS update for the flyer as its not compatible.

So that's me done with the Flyer now. It's up for sale.

It's still a great Tablet, but I think it's basically hardware limitations. I will say, having ICS on my Transformer Prime is leaps and bounds better than HC.

Agreed. I have the HTC One X and my Flyer is a disappointment to use after that. So been counting on HTC keeping their promise of making updates available for IIRC 18 months.
The Flyer is still a good piece of kit but being spoilt with ICS on my phone I've lost interest in it.

Unfortunately, my Flyer is pretty much bricked, but it still ran a hell of a lot faster than my Galaxy Tab 10.1 despite OS and hardware differences. It's a great 7"er, but becoming a bit outdated at this point.

I may be exercising the "buy back" I purchased for the flyer because of it becoming outdated. Thing is, closest thing I'd consider getting would be the Galaxy Note. I still want a 7 inch tablet, but need one with a writing stylus for notes during meetings.

Well that's it now. Couldn't be doing with it any longer. Using my tablet more and more lately and was liking my Flyer less and less, so just sold it and bought myself an Asus Infinity TF700T.

Good luck to all who are persevering and sticking with your Flyers.

ICS & JB are in early stages from XDA developers for Flyers. HTC will not be releasing them.
