Not exactly sure the exact amount I got back, but it wasn't an issue getting it. They gave me this look like this is the first time they had seen anyone come in for the price match. Big thanks to the OP.
Well, I too finally got mine last night right after work. It took me longer to wait for the sales guy to finish with other customers than it did for me to get my grubby hands on my new phone and walk outta there with a smile on my face.
When I presented the guy the coupon, he called the other sales rep and said, "hey, check this out!" He said I was the 1st customer at that store to use the coupon, said most other people were clueless, that most didn't even know how to print it out!!! LOL!!!
I was kind of afraid to do it but I did it last night after work. Wasn't sure if it was going to work because I had already purchased and exchanged the Pre.
The guys were cool about it but didn't really know what to do. I ended up getting ~$48 back because they said they either had to return the whole phone and repurchase it. But I have no complaints at all. I feel super lucky to have gotten at least a majority back on my credit card.

My Phone List:
T-Mobile Wing (2 years of Windows Mobile Hell), then iPhone (over it, same crap for 3 years, update it alredy), Verizon Prepaid (crap), then Palm Pre (nice but not quite all the way), Sprint Hero (Sense UI is great), lost the Hero now Nexus One (Superfast and awesome)!
I just did this about an 2 hours ago. Even though the time for the coupon had expired, they honored it because I had bought the phone during the coupon time period. I didn't have any problems at all. I didn't even have to bring in my receipt (although I would, just to be safe). I had bought two of them so I got $100 back.
I actually went into Best Buy today, after the coupon had already expired, and they honored the price match! I was at the register for literally a minute - no questions asked!
Not only did they refund my $50, but for SOME reason they refunded me $80+tax!! So my Hero only cost me $100+tax once all was said and done.
Device(s): HTC EVO Stock for now...
NC now with 2.2 sd goodness

I went in yesterday, and they refunded $126 for 2 phones. That was awesome! I don't know why this bothers me so much, but I am really in love with Best Buy. I hope my wife doesn't see this...
