Default Dialing Extensions On The Hero

Ok, here is my problem. A lot of the calls I make require me to dial in menu responses and extension numbers. Some of these I have automated in the dialing sequence itself, but many others are not consistent or are only used once. How do I dial extensions on the Hero? I can use the extended hold on the menu key to bring up the keyboard and the shift to the number set, or use extended hold down on the conventional keyboard, but this is a pain. What I would really like is to have my dialing keypad accessible while on the phone. Is there any way to do this? Anyone have other ideas? Thanks in advance.

Jack

For referance purposes I should mention that the solution was at the lower left side of the display when making a call. Press the small grid icon and the numeric keypad will reappear for interacting with call prompts. This phone is sweet.
