Default What has Android done for you?

For me, it allowed me to not miss my Daughter's first performance during her dance show. Here's my story -- I needed to buy myself a ticket due to giving up mine for some other family. The show was about to start and the studio couldn't accept my card because they had no internet connection at the theater we were in. I used my rooted Sprint Hero to run my wi-fi tether, allowed them to connect their iPad to my network and use my 3g connection to authorize my card and allow me to purchase my ticket, thus saving me driving around looking for an ATM.

Moral here is, always carry cash to small functions, and make sure you have your smartphone charged and handy!

This is only one of many examples, but it is recent and funny to me, so I thought I would share since others might get a kick out of it as well. Now it's everyone else's turn to share!

Oh yeah?! Well, my mom says I'm cool!
