Tapatalk is a forum app for iPhone, BlackBerry, Android and Nokia. The app provides super fast forum access to any vBulletin, phpBB forums that have activated Tapatalk (Simple Machine Forum and IP.Board are in development). Forum owner can download the free plug-in to activate Tapatalk in your forum.
I use it to view and post on a vBulletin based car forum. It is better than viewing the same site on the regular web browser.

Well it certainly sounds like a good app. Does the app that's in the market work best or is there a better one somewhere we should look for?

For 3$ I will just use the web browser unless someone can convince me that it is that much better.

tapatalk free does not let you reply or create new posts. The app is 4 bucks... thats no business for me. I just downloaded Opera Mini 5 beta. It does not have flash lite or pinch to zoom but is like 100 times faster than any browser. Its great for navigating the forums.

I liked it but only two forums I go to often use it so it wasn't worth $4 for that limited use.

Yea but there's nothing in the web browser that keeps all your forums in the same place
I always thought Vbulletin should have made a mobile app .. or even a mobile version of the forums...
Good thing the folks at tapatalk put my idea to practice..

Re: What is Tapatalk?
I use Tapatalk paid version and love it. It makes viewing forums faster. I suggest spending the 4 bucks for the program.

It's $4 flat fee, right? Not a monthly fee? Cuz I can probably find $4 worth of change in my sofa cushions and under the seats in my car. LOL. I might just buy it since this forum supports it.

You have to dig into the sub forum directories....
Forums
----Android Forums
-----------Sprint HTC Hero
---------------All Things Root (Sprint Hero)
Its down the list because the software list by forum ID numbers vs by Alpha

I use this forums:
XDA Developers
Android Forums (this one xD)
Yougamers
Maybe the EA forums
Those forums work with this app?.
Also, this app can be moved to the SD card?.

At the risk of getting a shovel out of the trunk of my car to help dig up this grave, there's a much more current thread under Phandroid Applications about Tapatalk that would provide more information.
