Default Seems the Hero will be missing out on BBC Iplayer

The BBC are making an Iplayer application for android (Although at the moment i'm using Beebplayer) however this will only run on Android 2.2, which the Hero isn't getting (so people have said)! Theres more about it HERE

You should give MyPlayer a go from the marketplace. It's basically an iplayer clone that lets you access all the stuff available on iplayer + it lets you stream live tv and radio too.

I'd definitely advise using it on wifi unless you have unlimited data on your phone, because it'll cane through your allowance otherwise.

I shall give it a go I use beebplayer at the moment and it's not the most stable of applications but it works none the less

P.s. MyPlayer works a lot more smoothly than Beebplayer did.

Just Downloaded and installed now, and it's immediately better, so much smoother!

I tried myPlayer a while ago and it didn't seem to be displaying at as higher quality as beebPlayer (which had higher quality for WiFi connections).

Has it improved since then?

I haven't tried it on wi-f yet, but the 3g stream is far far better than beeb player was. It's actually perfectly watchable now.

Madness - about 1% of Android users in the UK will be able to use it

Thank goodness for myPlayer!
