Hello, I recently got my Hero and am syncing with Google contacts, works well.

However, on the gmail 'contacts' web page (i.e. just looking at it through a regular browser), all the contacts which the Hero knows are my Facebook friends have an entry in the Notes field, something like this:

<sn>id:100000037393840/friendof:1281219823</sn>

I guess the Hero has added this entry when I've linked the contact with a Facebook friend. But why does it appear in the Notes field? I don't like it there and I don't think you should be able to see (and edit) this sort of internal information. It is also syncing down to my Mac Address Book (via Spanning Sync)!

I confirm it's the id of the contact, and your contact id on FaceBook.
I found also that strange, but I think there is a lot of sync issues with Google contacts (for example, the birthdates that are not synchronized)

I hope they will soon place this info in a dedicated field ...

I've been deleting these from my contacts right in Google. It seems to have no adverse effects, everything is still working. Although I haven't tried updayting one of these contacts so maybe it'll just get put in notes again.
