I saw this too, leaks usually come from the strangest sources. Still, I take it with a pinch of salt

I believe it. It's a technique that uses compressed RAM (I think it's also called compache). It'll compress less used parts of the kernel more, which can save a lot of room in the RAM while having nearly no impact on performance since most things that would be loading from RAM will be bottlenecked by other portions that are still in the flash memory.

i really want this update...it'll be like having a brand new Hero, as exciting as when i took it out of the box the first day

actually, has anyone been able to confirm if we also would get those funky animated wallpapers when we get the 2.1 update?

There's nothing wrong with rumours it all adds to the excitement of owning a Hero

In fact I'm going to start one about Flash 10!

I hear Flash 10 will be released around the end of the month, mind you I'm not telling you which month

Pardon me TeleC@ster, but why are you constantly negative to everything regarding the upgrade? You don't want a faster phone with more functionality?

I refuse to "butterfly" around rumours and I asked realictic q's and posed ditto statements.

But yes, I'm eager to. And also, my phone is fine now. Enjoy!

not sure if I can wait. Getting severely bored and increasingly annoyed at my Hero. A new theme helps for a while but i'm craving a physical keyboard and better cal/reception quality.

I think the poster meant, he wants to move to a different phone which has a physical keyboard. Not that the Hero will grow one!
