Default Should i update?

Heya, just got my htc hero yesterday and i am loving it!! Anyway i was reading about an update that speeds the hero up a bit (i have noticed sluggishness at times) and so i download it off the htc website, once i started running it, it said i was going From: Image version: 2.73.405.66 To: Image version: 2.73.405.5

Should i install this update? Or am i going backwards?

Edit: Im with Vodafone UK if this makes a difference.

Cheers guys

No need to update. 2.73 is the latest version, the last two numbers aren't important. Enjoy your new phone

Where did you get your hero? Vodaphone don't have that handset, unless you go with 'carphone warehouse'

I bought mine sim free from carphone warehouse and I'm using a vodafone sim. I had to update my phone and I'm currently on 2.73.405.5 There's no real noticeable sluggishness.
