Default Map Network Drives?

I bought my Hero yesterday, so I'm very new to the Android platform...

I'm connected to the LAN at work via wifi. I'm curious to know if there's a way to map network drives or access network shares on a PC connected to the same LAN. It'd be nice to be able to access the office documents using my phone.

Hi JRally,

not something I do, but I know my mate did this on his G1 by using a VPN setup by the IT guys at our office - so definitely possible by indirect VPN using the inbuilt/downloaded browser to the VPN location.

Outside of that/software to allow direct mapping, I don't know.

Hope that helps.

Look for the eStrongs File Explorer in the market. This can map network drives on a wide variety of platforms.
