hero with a mind of its own! help lol
ive tried searching the forums for an answers but no luck and just wondering if anyone else has experienced problems with their phone doing stuff on its own i.e scrolling throught menus and txt all by itself? my hero does it now and again and it is reallly getting on my nerves now
can anyone help?

i think i had the same problem (
Posessed phone ) i just got a replacement because it was a joke......not heard of any solutions yet.....

Mine recently started. I called up Orange and they gave me a replacement the day after for £15 admin fee. I think it's just the screen ****ing up and thinking it's being pressed. Areas of the screen kept going dead too, or really unresponsive.

Had all the above, but after using screen wipes and now a screen protector, seems to have cured it.
Could also be the tackball, as also cleaned that as well based on others comments on the N1 threads.

ive had a screen protector fitted for a few months now perhaps if i remove it and clean the screen may help

How does one clean the trackball of dirt that's likely inside?
I ran a hoover and with material to soften the suction and got something, but not much.
Remembering how dirty mice get....

I periodically roll it around for a minute or two using a lint-free pad dampened with IPA (spectacle cleaning solutions, camera lens cleaners etc).
