I've been using the previously awesome UpSoundDown (thanks to a recommendation on this forum), which turns on the speakerphone when you turn the phone upside down or lie it flat.

It's the sort of thing that would be great to have in Android as default, but until recently the app filled the gap nicely.

Now it has annoying advertisements that pop up after you use it and, worse, pops up black screens with the UpSoundDown title at the top at random occasions when using the phone.

Just wondering if anyone else is having these problems, or can recommend an alternative app to simply and easily turn on the speakerphone?

Sadly I'm having the same problems and have had to delete it.
As it was becoming a real pain.

I take it all back. As of this morning there is a new update that 'removes the ads, by popular demand'.

I haven't had much time to try it out, but so far the app seems to be fixed. Credit to the developers for sorting it.
