Default Hero Graphite Discoloration

Hi all,

I've been the very proud owner of the Hero in Graphite for a week and a half now, and am starting to notice some discoloration around the back casing, and front bottom corners.

Can anyone confirm this is an issue, or am I seeing something that should not be taking place?

Help, and thanks in advance

Mine's OK. It marks, but wipes clean.

I saw someone else complained about this , apparently it was the teflon coating on the case that helped to make it so dirty?

So is this dirty, or is the case wearing away? if dirty can anyone recommend something I can clean it with?

I thought it was only the white heros that had the teflon.

For those that have the white teflon one, how are you cleaning it?

I just realized mine has some marks that are possibly from rubbing against my jeans...

I've had mine since the end of July, it spends all day in my trouser pocket and apart from a chip in the finish next to the USB socket where I bumped it on a wall (don't ask!) it shows no wear. I've put 'Clear Armor' protection on front and back but the exposed edges/corners are still pristine.

Just an update....since being on the phone between HTC and my provider, Orange UK I have finally managed to persuade Orange to send me a new phone.

Interestingly, Orange do not have a process for dealing with cosmetic issues of this kind, as it 'never happens'. I'm not sure whether I totally believe this statement or not, but if it the case then it seem a little foolhardy to not have a process in place!

That said, I will have a new handset by Thursday, and I've ordered the Flexishield Cover for it, so theoretically this shouldn't happen again.

Mine is an unlocked Hero in White and I have noticed, it can tend to pick up ink marks from the Office environment (on paper, desks, etc).

Tried cleaning it by rubbing with a cloth but to be honest, if you just carry on using it, I have noticed the Teflon eventually cleans itself.......

Not been chipping it either by bumping it up against a wall while in my pocket LOL
