Would love to see a white Inspire, white devices look so Mass Effect.

That's my feeling.

Plus I feel like the two toned nature of that bronze (not all of the device is bronze from what I can see) would drive me crazy after a while.

If the Moto didn't have a locked bootloader, I would be all over it.

Then again after reading about how a leak of Gingerbread for Droid X came out (or, is coming out), I guess Moto really does take care of their high end devices (Droid: 2.0-->2.1-->2.2, Droid X: 2.1-->2.2-->2.3), if this device goes (2.2-->2.3-->(2.4?3.0?)), then it would be a damn good purchase and no real reason to complain about locked bootloader.

I don't even use a netbook anymore. My 14" laptop is pretty much as thin as any netbook out right now, but has a dvd drive, etc. and is just a bit heavier. Has an i5, 8 gigs of ram (upgraded from 4), an ati mobility 5650 with 1gb of ddr3 vram and 300 gb hdd. All that, and with the graphic switching capabilities, I get around 6 to almost 8 hours worth of battery life off charger depending on how I use it.

When I go to classes, this comes everywhere, weighs less than a textbook, and I don't need to bring my charger because it can just handle everything. My old netbook was basically rendered useless.

Not sure you want to go the route of a new laptop, but it's something to consider, depending on how old the one you currently own is.
