I own an inc2 but my girlfriend has the inspire 4g. She has been getting really weird text messages from "8" or from "0" saying something along the lines of "#$#@%T@%$$@%$@TG#$%T%TT%$#%#%$#T<>$%$<$#@%#>!$<#$ >#@%<#$>#!%$<#@>!#$<#%#$%@>$"


usually early in the mornings. It also hangs up on people all the time but I think thats just the light sensor, just throwing it in here so she knows I remembered. Lol. Anyways I was thinking of rooting it and flashing a new rom and all that stuff hoping to just fix everything, but there doesnt seem to be as much support for the inspire as there is for the inc2. Anyways, any tips on the texts?

I think I read somewhere recently that this is coming from the carrier you are on (Verizon or Sprint I think) but as i'm in the UK I can't really know for sure. But that definitely sounds like the article I was reading Hopefully someone over the pond can confirm if this is true or not.
