I have an HTC Inspire with the latest Android OS software. I also had this issue with the previous software version.

The problem is that my screen will no longer auto rotate......even it is checked in my settings! What gives? Software bug?

Also, can't figure out how to get rid of the screen lock. I unchecked it in settings but it still forces me to drag an icon into the little circle. I would prefer a password lock and I set that but it never locks. Maybe I will go to an AT&T store.

My says, just give in and get an iPhone.

Maybe I will stop in the AT&T store.
