Exclamation Inspire shuts itself off constantly, unless on charger.

I've got an Inspire 4G that will boot up, you can maybe open up the app drawer or something for a few seconds before it completely turns itself off (not a reboot). This does not occur when the phone is on the charger though. I have checked the battery levels as well as the connection and they are fine. I just did a factory reset back to stock (not even rooted) Android 2.3 and am still having this issue.

Any ideas?

There is a connector in the battery door that turns off the phone if it is open.
If it isn't closed completely, you could be accidentally turning it off by the way you're holding it.
If that isn't it, it may be something to do with the battery itself.
You might be able to take it to an AT&T store and get them to let you try another battery to see if it still does it.
Those are the only physical things I can think of.
The reset should have taken care of any software issues.
