Setting User certificate in VPN

Hi all

I am trying to connect to a VPN using HTC legend. I have successfully installed a client and ca certificate on my phone. However, when i proceed to " VPN settings > Add VPN > Add L2TP/IPSec CRT VPN ", the phone was unable to locate any certs under "Set user certificate".

Anyone know about this issue. Any help would be appreciated.

You need a p12 to put in the root of your sd card

e.g you can create this:
openssl pkcs12 -export -in [PathToClientCert] -inkey [PathToClientKey] -certfile [PathToCACert] -name [FriendlyName] -out certs.p12

what is out certs.p12
