Is there a way to change the notification sound for the Email only? (not gmail)

I see to turn it on or off only but not change it?

You don't say what firmware you are running. My v2.2 (Froyo) has selectable notification ringtones per account.

WTF, still can not set a custom Notification for Email?

Seriously, this is the most basic of settings, is it not?
am I missing it here or something?

You need to download from the Market some free ringtones, like " funny ringtones " for example. Once it's on your applications, open it, select a ringtone you like, long press on it,
and a window will pop up asking you wherdo you weant to use it . nitifications, messagge or
phone ringtone. You may have as many downloaded ringtones as you like, and they all basically work the same way.
