Caller Profile Settings Option Possible?

Hi all,

I was wondering if there is an app or setting that allows me to set my phone to a specific profile that only allows certain people to call at certain times, I'll give you an example, I had an old Samsung phone and I could set it, so when it was on General, everyone who called made my phone ring loud, but if I put it on 'Emergency Only' on people in a list could make my phone ring, everyone else just rang silently. I also had 'Emergency Only/Email' so that again, if the listed people called it would ring, or if I got an Email it notified me, but text messages didn't. This will help me as I work shift work and being called whilst I'm asleep ain't a pleasant thing, but I would like to be able to leave my mobile phone on. I have a HTC Magic running 2.2 on Cyanogenmod-6.0.0.DS.

Is there a way to set up the phone this way, or anybody know of an App that could help me achieve what I require.

am sure there is an app, if no I will try to create one but don't hold your breath, am just new to andriod app development thing. but if I came a cross one I will let u know here.

Did you find such an application? If not, I'll make one because just today I had a major family crisis because they thought something happened to me cause they couldn't reach me...I'd muted the phone before going to sleep yesterday and well...forgot about that this morning...result by noon: dozens of missed calls...
