HTC Lexikon shows up in leaked ROM update: is it the Merge for Verizon? -- Engadget

Seems to be on par with the Droid 2. Would be a nice addition to the Droid family.

No. It looks just like that, the same as the one posted on Engadget minus the red KB.

Ok, now I'm confused. If that device is the Merge, then what device is this that BGR posted photos of?

I don't know what that device is. But it definitely isn't the Merge.

I have asked Phases to merge the two forums, renaming it to Merge. I think he's just waiting for official confirmation that it will indeed be called the Merge, before he combines the two.

I personally think its awesome that it has a keyboard. There simply arent enough verizon androids with a keyboard, just OG Droid and Locked Down Droid2.

I have the huge Droid X and while I love the massive screen ann the larger size of the onscreen keyboard, I still make more mistakes than I like or would with a hardware keyboard. Many times it is due to the predictive nature of the onscreen which I love and hate. But simply put I miss not having a real QWERTY to use so this phone has me thinking of trading in my X for it.
