I'm not sure what workaround options this phone has, some HTC's can vary. However, one surefire way to fix it is to power off the phone, then press and hold the volume down button and then press and hold the power button at the same time to bring up the bootloader. Then use the volume keys to scroll to "clear storage", then the power button to select it. This will factory reset your phone so you'll have to set it back up again but you'll have a working phone afterward.
