Default Which one to buy : HTC One M8 or Xperia Z1 Compact : Better Camera ?

I am planning to buy one of them. My only priority of the smartphone is to take pics. Even though M8 has better sensor and can take overall better night time pic, Z1 Compact has 20.7MP compared to M8's 4MP and its daylight pic wins over M8.

I have to decide soon on one of them. Any advice which one better overall. Thanks !

Owned both. M8 is better under most lighting and situations.

I know M8 blows everyone at night sometimes even 5S but what about day pic ? If taken pic at bright conditions, HTC ultrapixel seems to have the whiteness in it by too much overexposure.
