Default Transfer from microSD to HTC One S

Hi,

Newbie on this site, so hello from Melbourne, Australia!

My Sony Ericsson X10 just plain stopped for no reason and with no warning a few days ago. It will not power up at all so I cannot bluetooth and sync it to transfer info across.

I've hooked it's SD card up to a PC, and hooked up the HTC One S as well and transferred all my pics and videos, however I'd like to move text messages and contacts across too.

Is there any way I can copy/paste these via the PC, or do I have to get hold of a third phone (with the old SD card in) to transfer this info? I have no clue what folders the old text messages and contact info are stored in. (There are no contacts on the old SIM card - I have tried import from SIM).

Thanks in advance for any pointers.
