Default Software Upgrade probs with HTC1s

A few days ago I got a noitce on my HTC1s saying that there was an Andriod upgrade - press to proceeed type message. I have had one or two of these over the year I have had this fine phone. I clicked yes. The phone did the upgrade.

Nothing has been the same since. When I touch the screen I get 2 blue lines, (horizontal & Virtical) like cross hairs following where ever I touch the screen. If I quickly run my finger across the screen a blue or red trace line is left only replaced when I wipe the screen again, which in turn leaves this line there. All the functions work as before, but now the screen is littered with these lines.

Along the top is bar with lots of digits on it. When I move my finger and get the following cross hairs effects, the digits change as I move my finger, as in X & Y axis.

How can I get my phone back to what it was?
