Default MMS on Cricket network problem

I've had my HTC One V for about a month now, and have had this problem since day one. I don't know if it is a network issue, but I have no clue why Cricket wouldn't allow me to download mms. I use Go SMS Pro, but this problem also persists with the stock messenger app. It notifies me telling me I have an MMS, and when I attempt to retrieve it, it tries for a bit then tells me there is a generic network failure. Any help would be greatly appreciated, thank you.
