Default Bluetooth sat nav and beats audio

I use copilot sat nav and found that when my phone is connected to my car hifi via bluetooth the sat nav is not audible.
I have checked all settings and they are fine but what I did notice is that when the sat nav made a verbal instruction (I couldnt hear) the beats audio logo flashed up on the top of the screen.
I disabled bluetooth and the sat nav audio returned.

Is this an issue with copilot, the phone bluetooth or beats audio on the phone?
