Default What's wrong with the email client ?

All my emails look huge and I can't seem to resize them. I mean what's the point of having a email client if you can't even look at your freaking emails.

in settings/display/font size, which size do you have enabled? medium works for me. extra large doesn't allow an email to fit within the frame of the one x screen.

I put mine on small hoping it would fix it, but sadly no change

I'm wondering if this is specifically a hotmail issue. I have 3 mail accounts set up with the HTC mail client and don't have this problem.
Just a thought

Ok so i put my gmail account on the HTC email app and it does the same thing except for the web links are now clickable? so that problem is hotmail. but the emails are still huge. now im not talking text only emails. im talking emails like best buy where ther are alot of pictures and ebay emails where it showes pictures of the items you are watching. And i cant even zoom out to get even half of the email on the screen. So now i open the gmail app and try it there. it is a bit better on there but still cant zoom out to make the email on the screen. I just would hate to not be able to use the htc email because i like to have the visual number of emails on the screen.

Well i have downloaded the hotmail app and it works great. but sadly no visual indication like on the htc mail. So this is definatly a HTC email problem. I sure wish someone on here knew how to fix it.

Do you mean your text isn't wrapping to fit the page? Just checked and my mine is but strangely enough I am having that problem in the this forum when trying to read it. Only works when I turn the screen on its side. Then if I switch it back to portrait after that then the text wraps and fits?

No i dont have a problem if the email is just text. if anything else is on the email it blows it up huge to where i can only see about 1/4 of the email on my screen.

...maybe reset the device, and see if that helps.

Then again, has it been this way from day one?

I've never used the standard app, but if you want a dedicated mail app, K9 -Mail is a pretty good alternative.

what parameters did you set within gmail/hotmail before adding them to the htc email client? gmail seems to have more options than htc email. wonder if they function when gmail is within htc email.
