Default Touch Display works terribly only while charging.

has anyone encountered this problem before? When I'm charging my HTC ONE X, the screen becomes very dysfunctional. I'm having problem switching between windows, playing games like temple run is impossible because it does not get the comands. pretty much everything related to touching the screen is going wrong

I'm not experiencing that myself, but I did see a thread a week or so ago of someone else saying the exact same thing, so I don't think you're alone in that regard.

My previous phone (an HTC Rezound) would become unresponsive if plugged in while fully charged. If not plugged in or < 100% charge it was fine. My HOX seems fine all the time.

I had the very same thing for a while after updating to 1.29 via the ruu. After two or three phone restarts its ok now.

I am having the exact same issue here, touch become very unsensitive.. on 1.28 OTA update.. not root..
Tried reboot but no help..

Update....05.16
as it seems charing over laptop USB does not cause this issues, suspecting wall plug charger should not be over 1k-ma... will try on htc charger and revert when back at home..

Default Same for me :(

Yep, I get the same problem. I have contacted HTC about it, along with some issues i'm having with message preview settings always reverting back to 2 lines and medium font size. I'll post in any feedback should it arrive.

HTC Replied with the following on May 16th:

I'm very sorry that you have experienced theses bugs on your device. I can confirm that we have released a update today that fixes these issues on your device. I would recommend searching for a update on your phone, you can check for a system update on your phone by following the below instructions.

Unfortunately I'm with Vodafone UK and they are taking AGES with software updates....Probably because loads seem to be coming through from HTC (well done to them) but Vodafone only want to release 1....

Hi, Just to verify issit ok to really charge this phone with 2100mah charger? i tried on both 1000mah (htc) and USB both were fine, however when going with 2100mah (ipad) it immediately shows the issue here.. I think phone is up to date.

I would try a different charger, I had a few generic chargers that would charge phones HOWEVER the phone would lockup-hesitate-and act all screwy when connected to them. I stopped using them and stick with the official ones.
