Default Very poor contact photo quality

Did anyone managed to find a way to fix this problem on Android devices?

I have One X with this problem, I was browsing online, found many people with this problem but no solution.. one of the threads:

https://redmine.limun.org/issues/71

Problem looks like this:

Basically if you use high res photo on contact icon, it appears to be very very low res, I couldn't find a way to fix it. I am saving contact's in phone memory, not Google..

It's an Android thing unfortunately. There is an app somewhere which ups the resolution of the pics, but I can't remember the name. I'll have a scan for it when I get home.

You can give this a shot. I use it and it helped quite a bit and its a great app. More than likely the one El Presidente is referring to.

Hope it helps

Thanks for replies guys!

One question, that App is a 3rd party contacts book? Or I will be able to use normal "People" app that is installed?

Maybe then it's worth waiting for JB, which is due this month
