Default GPS Not Working

I got a One X that has problems with its Gps, I tried factory reset but still seems to not connect with satellites. I have used Gps Test on the One X and One S and the One X does not even see 1 sat while the One S picks up 19.

If I press really hard on the edges of the screen, signal gets a momentary boost.

I feel I have to send it for repair, but any suggestion is welcomed.

I agree a repair maybe the better option but I found this not sure if you fancy trying it...

How to fix GPS on HTC ONE X , bouncing , and lock problems on satelits ( Tutorial ) - YouTube

Hope that helps

Thanks for the tip, I must have that problem myself, hence the pressure on the sides solving it temporarily.

Now I only have to decide if I try it myself or have to send it in

I'd send it in, if it's a definite hardware fault, HTC will fix for free. If you attempt your own fix, if it develops another H/W issue in future, you won't have the HTC option as your warranty will be void.

Up to you though

I agree with EP get it in to HTC, you will have to wait but it will take out any issues you may get opening up yourself...

Good luck

Yep, I also got a One S with a cracked screen, so I will rely on an old trusty HD2 for some weeks .
