Nope! And it's rebooting itelf! When a call comes in, I can't answer it. It rings for about 5 minutes (really), doesn't go to voicemail. Stops eventually and re-boots.

And I just discovered that when the One X is connected to my laptop (Win7) I can read the image files, but they don't show as full images, only icons. Weird.

Have you tried a factory reset? (remember everything on the phone will be wiped)

And worse!
On connecting again to laptop, a msg from HTC pops up that a new driver is available for HTC Sync - which AVG then tells me might have a virus! See screen shot.

Unlink it via the accounts menu, then relink, see if that helps. Your issues are similar to those I've seen on big updates on other HTC handsets. In some cases, removing and re adding the FB account sorts it.

Good one! I now have a keyboard in Gmail.
I can see a list of text messages also, but can't open any of them.
I restarted the phone. Haven't had any calls yet, so don't know if I can answer, now.
I think you need to put it down nicely and go for a walk lol It's cold outside as your in the UK so shouldn't take long to clear your head of these phone breaking thoughts...

I guess I'll just wait for the battery to go flat (with fingers in ears)!

Actually, it WAS a UK supplied SIM-free phone from my usual supplier, but I cracked the screen after only 6 days.
It went to M-Blue for repairs (not recommended) and came back with an Asian keyboard (and more, obviously, that I did not notice) so I guess that clears up why I got JB before you guys get the chance for the OTA.
The factory reset worked fine, have been rebuilding the thing ever since. Thanks for all your help!!!
JB seems smooth. Haven't tried out any of the additional features yet, but enhancements to the camera operation appear useful.

Oh, and good ol' Google seemed to have fully backed up most of my settings and contacts, so at least I was halfway to getting things back to normal, as a starting point. (They may keep all my shopping data, after all)! :-)

Did this company say they replaced or repaired the phone? I'd be a bit miffed if I got a phone with Asian software returned.
Anyway, glad the factory reset sorted it.
M-Blue was pretty much a disaster. After being fobbed off with many excuses for late delivery (they claimed a 5-day service) I actually went to their place in Essex to collect it. They hadn't done anything when I got there, but managed to fix it up with a new screen (so they said) within an hour. Didn't discover the Asian thing until I got home and didn't want to waste anymore time, phone calls, emails etc on them. If you Google them, you'll find plenty of others with the same experience. Their HQ was very tatty, but had some nice cars with personal plates outside! Thanks for the CID info.
