Default HTC one X MMS issue

When I receive an image thru text from someone, I receive the image in low quality. It's extremely small and I'm unable to see it. And to be specific, this tend to happen more with those who have send me an image from an iPhone(if that has anything to do with it). I was wondering if there is a way to fix this issue or if there's nothing I can't really do about it.
