Hi,

I have had my HTC One XL for about 8 months. For the past 6 months my phone has been intermittently not receiving some SMS and MMS.

I have cleared everything, temp files most SMS’s and check limits and the problem still occurs. I got a new sim card and its still happening.

My network provider has ‘looked into it’ and has advised me there were no issues on the network and as far as they were concerned they had been received.

It’s not specific to a particular carrier or other phone. It’s not specific to a time of day or a location. I can receive a SMS and then the same person can try again an hour later and it not be received.

Has anyone experienced this? Does anyone have any suggestions on what I should do next?

Do you have wifi on when this happens? Do you always get them, just eventually?

Actually I was at he gym the other day (off WiFi) and my wife called me 10 times. I didn't get not one single call. Later that day my wife and daughter texed me about 20 times while in was downstairs (on WiFi) killing nOobS on Black Ops II. Not one sing text. Reset my phone and everything came through at once. I don't know who to blame. Phone or carrier.

So, it happens when I have wifi on, or off, 3g on or off.

I have run all the updates and turned my phone on and off heaps of times and just nothing.

I just had a gf send me a sms and its been about 20 minutes and it just hasn't arrived.

Frustrated...... and my service provider..... useless and has no solutions and according to the system I received all of those messages.

Any ideas?

I think you should factory reset your phone..
