Default memory issues

I only have 150mb memory available & when i use an App killer and kill all apps this goes up to approx 250mb. Thats not lot considering I've supposedly 1Gb. How can I increas the available memory please?

The only time when you would ever have 1gb available would be if your phone had its battery removed, that way there would be nothing running at all.
150mb is normal for the one x when it is running, you don't need to use a task killer as the os is very efficient at managing the memory.
