I'm trying a pouch and liking it a lot so far. I think most phone drops occur taking it out of the pocket or putting it back in. With a pouch there's less of a problem with a drop and it's cushioned if it does drop.

There are a number available but here's the one I got. $3.99 including shipping and came very fast.

Default Yet Another Case

After taking delivery & raving about this case:

Hyperion HTC One TPU Case Matte Smoke - Hyperion Electronics Accessories

I've found another one that,IMHO,looks better,so yes,of course I HAD to order one:

Amazon.com: Buying Choices: BoxWave HTC One UniColor Case - Sleek Dual Tone TPU Case for Durable Anti-Slip Protection, Transparent Matte Back with Solid Border - HTC One Cases and Covers (Frosted Black)

Hey, @ $4.75 total,including shipping,I couldn't resist.

If you can get it shipped from your southern neighbors,it's available @ AMAZON:

Amazon.com: Buying Choices: HTC One Car Kit - Car D160

Or,you could make this seller an offer from our neighbors across the pond:

NEW GENUINE HTC ONE M7 CAR VEHICLE DOCK KIT HOLDER MOUNT CAR CHARGER - CAR D160 on eBay!

The North American HTC site is showing it as out-of-stock until 5/27/13.

Default HTC ONE Car Dock

It's $60 w/free shipping from the HTC site,but,it's currently out-of-stock.

Cell Phone Accessories

I'm only guessing this price+shipping applies to Canadian orders as well.

I'm guessing it won't fit with a case on? My L TEVO I had a Sprint car dock made for my phone with auto docking mode for 40 bucks and it worked with both my Otterbox Commuter and my Seidio. This one is high! For now I am using my old one I just took out the charging port and it fits ok not a 100% fit with my Otterbox but good enough one side fits in the other doesn't quite fit.

Judging from the pix available here,I'm guessing no:

Amazon.com: HTC One Car Kit - Car D160: Cell Phones & Accessories

To remove any doubt, the Q & A from the above AMAZON link states as much, this dock will only work w/o any case installed:

Q: Will this HTC car kit accommodate a cast, specifically the HTC Double Dip Hard Shell case, or can you only use it without a case?

A: It can only fit without the case

Default Review of Yoobao HTC One (M7) case with pics

This is a review of Yoobao HTC One (M7) slim case: Yoobao Crystal Protecting PC Case for HTC One M7

Some of you guys maybe familiar with my reviews, a TON of stuff I do for N2, N7, and S4 (the complete review link in my sig). I just received review samples of Yoobao cases from www.kevikev.com (the only authorized US dealer of Yoobao products), and beside N2 and S4 stuff they included by mistake M7 case. So I figured to make a short write up for the benefit of anybody who is interested in super slim case for their HTC One.

It's a super slim plastic case with a very nice rubbery matte finish. The plastic itself is semi transparent. There are a lot of color options to suite everyone's taste. This case is for those who are after improving a grip of their naked phone and also protecting back of your phone from being scratched. It doesn't offer full wrap around protection of top/bottom of the phone, so you have to be very careful since you can't rely on this case providing an adequate drop protection. It's mostly to keep it super slim and to give you a better handling of the phone to avoid dropping it. As you can see, all the port openings align perfectly, and button cutout offers an easy access. This case also comes with a screen protector of a decent quality (not your usual ebay cheap stuff) and a very generous micro-fiber cloth which I'm sure a lot of people will find useful even after installation of sp.

So overall is a very nice lightweight case that will blend in with your phone without any additional bulk.

Here are some pics (sorry, i don't even have a phone, just pics of the case):

In other words it offers no more protection than the phone already is equipped with

Same as every other reasonably priced case on the market

I don't even have an idea of what HTC One looks like lol!!! Sorry, I do pro reviews for tons of accessories (N2, N7, and S4). This M7 case came by mistake and its the same one as S4 case, so I took pictures and kind of recycled the review. Hah, no battery cover? What a bummer. Can you even change your battery? Too bad We are at Note 2 rocking now 9300 mAh extended battery. Sorry guys, I just didn't want case to go to waste without some kind of a review. I will edit it to delete my nonsense. In my defence, check out link in my sig - I went through DOZENS of cases and accessories in the last few months. Loosing my mind with these lol!!!

... just updated my post, hope you are happy now and thanks for b@llbusting, I needed that

My Speck Candyshell case arrived a week or so ago and I thought i'd take the case and phone on an extended jaunt to Italy whilst I 'worked' out there.

I managed to drop my phone from waist height onto the marble floor of my hotel room and not even a scratch on the case, no dents or scuffs at all. It is a dual layer case that is bonded together, so there is a hard silicone inner and a hard plastic outer that can't be separated from each other.

It has a silicone rubber 'lip' at the front to protect the screen if you lay it face down and it really doesn't bulk up the phone much at all. Like every other case, it comes with a microfibre cloth and screen protector but as I already had a high quality one on the phone, the new protector went straight into a drawer.

Overall, I think it is a great case for the money (£20) and I bought it because I had one on my iPhone 5 and thought it was one of the best cases I had used. I'm glad to see that it doesn't disappoint me on the HTC One and I now have matching phones.

Overall, I give it an impressive 8 HRDs out of 10.

So it has. A clear "rubber" interior? I was under the impression that the only rubber on that case was the colored bits.

Default Dual is. Adapter for new HTC One

Hello chaps

Does anyone know if there if a dual sim adapter for the HTC One yet please? I gather that like the iPhone, this will be an external device that plugs in the sim port and wraps round the back of the phone under a case.

My searches have so far yielded nothing.

All help gratefully received.

Don't have time to look around more right now, but found this after a quick search:
MAGICSIM ELITE - MICRO SIM DUAL SIM ADAPTER is compatible with HTC ONE and many other phones

Says it's compatible with the HTC one.

Cheers Brian, thanks for looking. I went to that site but must have missed the adapter.

It does say it's compatible and whilst it might work, when the extension is folded round the back of the phone it will lay right over the camera.

I'd come across a couple of BLUETOOTH SIM devices,w/the only downside that you'd be toting another device around, which would more or less defeat the purpose........

Has anyone received their updated Poetic Atmosphere case yet? I just read some reviews on Amazon from people that have received the updated version and they've mentioned some issues with the colored part that goes around the case (separation, glue). I didn't see any mention of this in reviews of the original version. I really like the looks of the case and would like to get it. I'm hoping it just has to do with being a first batch of the updated cases maybe? Anybody that has it, you have any issues?

Default HTC ONE BOX-WAVE Bumper/Shell Case

Just got this in today:

Amazon.com: BoxWave HTC One UniColor Case - Sleek Dual Tone TPU Case for Durable Anti-Slip Protection, Transparent Matte Back with Solid Border - HTC One Cases and Covers (Frosted Black): Cell Phones & Accessories

VERY NICE CASE.

The fit is snug,so much that one would think it is an official HTC ONE accessory.

No pulling around the edges, even at the cutouts for the IR Blaster/3.5mm port/USB port. The volume rocker is covered & actually functions better than stock-w/o a case.

The black bumper guard is nice, dresses up the appearance of the silver model,so much that it quells any misgivings on not waiting for the Black HTC ONE.

The back shell is opaque/semi-transparent,enough so to still be able to distinguish this as an HTC ONE.An added bonus to the back shell appearance:

The BoxWave logo, present in the link posted above,is no where to be found.

I'm expecting delivery of the POETIC BORDERLINE Bumper Case tomorrow:

Amazon.com: Poetic Borderline Bumper Case for HTC One M7 Black/Gray(Update Version) (3 Year Manufacturer Warranty From Poetic): Cell Phones & Accessories

I'm sure it'll be a nice case, however,it's hard for me to imagine that the quality will match this BoxWave Bumper/Shell Case.

I'll be back here tomorrow to eat my words.

Back w/the POETIC Bumper Case, just like the one reviewed here @ PHANDROID:

Review: HTC One Poetic Borderline bumper case

I'm in disagreement w/Chris on the opinion that it's somewhat sub-par in build quality.I have no issues w/that @ all, however, this is the earlier version which was not properly provisioned for the power button I/R BLASTER functions.

I ordered it anyway, knowing this ahead of time,to determine if simply cutting out the area covering the power button/IR BLASTER would alleviate this issue.

YES: I was able to remove the material covering the IR BLASTER;no problem, accomplished this quite easily & cleanly w/an X-ACTO knife, which enabled this to work.

&

NO-ish: The power button is still quite difficult to depress, unless one happens to sport long fingernails.

All other cutouts for USB Port/3.5mm audio out/mics are spot-on,volume rocker is covered & works well, better than stock w/o a case.

This case does not have a back shell,it is merely a bumper guard.
The fit is nice & paired up w/a body skin should provide enough protection for those instances when minimal protection is required.

I'd recommend it,but,STRONGLY suggest waiting for the updated/latest version, which should address the Power Button/IR BLASTER issues. However, even this can be overcome w/a proximity sensor app in the GOOGLE PLAY STORE & material removal described above.

AFAIK,an updated version of this case is still not available for order direct from POETIC:

Got mine today, Gray on Clear, looks pretty good on the silver and definitely fits nicely. I also have one of these:

Amazon.com: Hyperion HTC One TPU Case and Screen Protector (Compatible with Sprint HTC One, T-Mobile HTC One, and AT&T HTC One Phones) Hyperion Retail Packaging (Matte Smoke): Cell Phones & Accessories

I like the Poetic better, the volume rocker covers are easier to feel and the back is more of a plastic as opposed to TPU. Haven't noticed any glueing issues with the rubber siding and the rubber has a better feel/grip in my hand than the other case.

I did notice my bottom mic hole was smaller than the other case and wasn't exactly centered but, my gf said I still sound clear and fine so I will leave it alone.

Good luck, there seems to be a lot of nice cases out there.

Cool. Thanks for the update. Coincidently, I was also looking at that same Hyperion case if things didn't look too good with the Atmosphere. Think I'll place an order. Is it weird to order the case before you have the phone?

I'm trying to wait for my wife to decide on a phone so we can upgrade at the same time, but the black One is calling my name...

I purchased the Otterbox commuter before I even received the phone. My phones have always been in these with good results. I like it except for a couple of very small issues. The flap/cover for the usb charging port does not fully press in while not charging. Also I expected it to be all rubber, but it has a plastic cover(2 piece design) over the rubber. Makes it a little easier to slip out of hand more than just the rubber ones I have had on all my previous Blackberries. It looks great on the phone and offer decent protection. Just my 2 cents. Cheers

Figured I would give some of you guys a heads up.

I've been using the double dip flip case since I got my phone a few weeks back now and while I am very happy with it there seems to be a slight issue with it I can find.

The "soft touch" coating on the plastic parts is starting to come off. I haven't dropped the phone or anything and I take very good care of it. However I do remove the phone from the case a lot so it can be put in my car holder which has probably caused some of this.

I'm not too fussed either way as i love the functionality this case offers me but thought I would let u guys know.

Looking forward to the review. I had one of these on my SGS III & it worked flawlessly, however, the fit on the top cap wasn't the best, as it was a bit loose. I've seen a couple of bloggers reviews stating that this has been addressed w/the ONE & hoping you'll be able to confirm this.

THX!

Just received my xtremeguard.. ($3.97 shipped to Canada)

Best money spent ever, infact I think I'll order a second one for backup.

I put the body protector on and adds a bit of grip to the phone and will protect it from scratches if I'm dumb enough to set it down on a bad surface.

I'm keep the screen protector as a backup since I paid $25 the day after release for a ghost armor matte anti glare protector which is amazing (but overpriced).

I recommend the xtremeguard bodyskin to anyone, I'll post back after I've gave it ample time to set and I try it with the HTC hard shell case.

If listening to music is necessary in the car and the bluetooth wont do it why not get a cheap bluetooth adapter. I have the motorola t505 as my car has no bluetooth, it plays music fine thru my stereo and answers my calls as well. Just an option, good luck.

I looked at that but I decided on an iPod since it integrates with my stereo and I can change songs on my steering wheel

Just gotta remember to turn Bluetooth on my phone so my calls get routed in.

Default HTC ONE BATTERY CASE by i-BLASON

Just pre-ordered an extended battery case:

PowerGlider External Battery Case for HTC One (M7)

Was considering getting the MOPHIE version:

mophie juice pack® HTC One Extended Battery Case

However,I'm liking the design of the i-BLASON case,as it appears to be slimmer & a better top-cap design, which appears to be physically tethered to the body vs. a removable top-cap w/the MOPHIE model.

The battery capacities are identical, adding an extra 2500 mAh to the on-board 2300 mAh w/the HTC ONE.

I ordered it through AMAZON,as it's priced $10 less than @ the mfgs.website:

Amazon.com: i-Blason PowerGlider For 2013 HTC One (M7) Smart Phone Rechargeable External Battery Glider Full Protection Case - AT&T, Sprint, Verizon, T-mobile (Black): Electronics

Shipping on MAY 30,w/an ETA of 6/4/13.

Will post an initial fit-finish review to be followed w/an in-depth report on battery life soon after.

Awesome, I'll definitely look forward to reading it. My big positive for the case you're ordering is it has a kick stand. I used the heck out of that on the EVO4G and my Photon.

I like that case it looks nice. So even if you have a full battery you can use this case and then does it start working when you get low? Or do you have to just put it on when battery is getting low? I saw they make this 15 dollar kickstand case wonder how good it is? I wanted the Seidio one but there expensive. I think someone mentioned this one has a kickstand does it? I don't remember seeing it when looking at pics on the website. Guess I'll look again.

Edit: Wow Amazon has the kickstand case for 7.99. I'm gonna get me and my boyfriend both one I think.

I'm not sure w/this one,but,w/the MOPHIE Case I had w/the S3,you could run off of the battery case first & then it would automatically switch to the phone battery once the case was depleted.

You could also go in reverse, run the phone down & then switch to the battery case, which was the mfgs. suggested SOP.

Contrary to the mfgs (MOPHIE) suggestion,I found the former method provided a longer battery life vs the latter.

I'LL post on how this particular case is configured next week,as delivery is slated for 6/2/13-6/4/13.

FWIW my last case mate became brittle and pieces started falling off after a year. I'm using the Trident Aegis case. It's sexy looking (pictures and videos do not do it justice), feels great, and seems to have a quality build.

I have an Otterbox Commuter but want a kickstand case. Anyone ever heard of this company? CellJewel.com - Cases - Hybrid Cases With Kick Stand for One/ M7

They make 2 cases with kickstand one is 5.99 which they told me is a bit bulkier than there other 9.99 case which they say is more sleeker. The 5.99 one they said is like an Otterbox which I have now. I'm gonna try the 9.99 one since I can't afford my favorite Seidio right now.

Looks like an unbranded OTTERBOX or SEIDIO to me. I'd say go for it,especially @ the price.

A vast majority (but not all) of these accessories are manufactured in the same facilities, only difference being branding & $.

Default HTC ONE CHARGING/SYNCING Dock

Got another desktop charging/syncing dock from eBAY:

New Charger for HTC One M7 Desktop Dock Cradle USB Black HTC One | eBay

This one,@ the time of purchase, was the least expensive I could find & is the same exact dock that is sold by countless others on AMAZON/e-BAY/etc.

EZOPower Sync Cradle Dock Charger w Detachable Case Plate for New HTC One M7 | eBay

Except for two minor differences:

1) Ships w/only a USB Cord,no A/C Outlet power plug.

2) The rubber feet on the bottom are flat,as opposed to rounded feet on the EZO model, which provides for a better grip on a desktop/table surface.Definitely not a big deal @ all unless you happen to be prone to knocking things over/off your workspace/nightstand/etc....

I suppose for the above mentioned differences, this is why it's a few $ less expensive vs. the other similar charging/syncing docks.

Bottom line: It works as advertised.
