Go to settings, apps, maps, uninstall updates and it will revert you to the old version

Default NEW PRE-4.2.2 UPDATE for the T-MOBILE HTC ONE

Just caught wind of this over @ T-MO NEWS:

Software update: HTC One (LTE) | T-Mobile Support

HTC One software update released, LTE data and reception fix included | TmoNewsTmoNews

Again,this is not the 4.2.2 UPDATE,just a maintenance update.

Looked for it on HTC's website,as directed by T-MOBILE,if you don't want to wait for the OTA.No sight of it so far...............

*EDIT:

Got the update OTA,installing now.....

As the notes state, not expecting anything earth-shattering,epecially since LTE isn't deployed in my area ATM.

Default T-MOBILE HTC ONE UPDATE REVISED (WHERE's My HDR MODE?)

T-MOBILE owners will want to wait on updating until HDR MODE is restored in the latest maintenance update:

T-Mobile HTC One update loses HDR camera settings in error, fix coming as soon as possible | Android Central

NICE WORK HTC:

Fixed camera app update now available for the T-Mobile HTC One | Android Central

Just got the fix for the update a few minutes ago, a 4MB download that didn't even require a re-boot.

I imagine those that receive the entire revised update from here on out will get an all-in-one update w/o any add-ons.

I would uninstall any updates. Then reinstall the updates to your voicemail. I assume an update did not install properly. If that does not resolve the problem just force stop the app if you cannot "clear data or clear defaults." You have to go into SETTINGS - APPS - VOICEMAIL APP to reach these settings.

I'm seeing this same problem. It's definitely an app issue. Probably time to email the developer.

I found a fix. Go into settings and select speakerphone option. If the volume is too low hit the volume up switch and select the settings icon. Turn the volume up for all your settings. It should come over the speaker loud enough now and the screen won't cut off. Have to use it like that until receiving an update.

And I sent an email to the developer.

I just got an update to version 1.26.502.15. This was a big file, over 240 MB, but the Android version is the same. I haven't noticed any differences... yet. Any idea what this update was?

Here's the skinny on the AT&T update: AT&T HTC One Receiving Maintenance Update To Build 1.26.502.15, Brings "LTE Enhancements"

I'm Rooted, S-off & running Android Revolution HD, so I'm not getting this for obvious reasons. I grabbed the Radio update file from XDA and it seems to have really perked up my reception. I keep seeing differing reports on if this update as a whole patches up the current S-off exploits out there, so you may want to consider that if you take it.

Anybody else experiencing total network dropouts after accepting the Sprint update? I can have 3 bars and 3g one minute, then all of a sudden it's like my radios turn off. The signal bar icon isn't even there.

I have not experienced and issues since the update with Sprint. Have you performed a PRL update and restarted the device?

Still doing it on mine. I am rooted and have the latest rom from Viper that is said to incorporate the sprint update but there are times when I try to pull data from the phone and it just sits there then the 3g data symbol goes away. I then count to about 20 and it comes back and takes another 10 seconds to start downloading.

I have updated the PRL and restarted the phone a couple times and still no change.

I would look for support in the viper thread on XDA since you are rooted. See if anyone else is experiencing the issue.

I got my HTC One 2 weeks ago with Sprint. Everything was working great. Then a few days later I got the [Sprint OTA] update. Everything seems to be fine, except I can barely hear anything when making a call. Its like the volume is stuck as low as it goes and raising or lowering the volume does nothing. Although it works fine on speaker phone and with a headset plugged in. The top speaker does work just not with phone calls. Anyone have any ideas how to fix it?

my problem did occur after the last update I received. The speaker still puts out sound but very quietly. I am going to try a hard reset soon.

The micro-drilled holes can sometimes also get clogged with dirt and other small particles, deadening and quieting sound. It is possible to clean them out with a dry soft bristle toothbrush. See this thread for more information, if that's something you want to try.

You'd need to at least tell us who your carrier is. The individual carriers release the updates on their own schedules. Sprint rolled the update out before AT&T. Anyone on AT&T couldn't get the update, even though Sprint customers could.

Not sure if Verizon and T-Mobile have released it yet. I just know for the US, Sprint and AT&T have released it, and it will show up if you just do the check updates option. If nothing shows up, likely your carrier hasn't rolled it out yet. Also, many times they roll the updates out based on things like the serial number of the devices, or geographic area, or other things. Usually they are staggered launches.

Sprint and AT&T released the update. T-Mobile is releasing it sometime this week and Verizon is supposed to release it before the end of the month.

So I know the AT&T update was out and was wondering how I go about downloading it manually.

Not sure how to do it in that case. If you don't have actual service, I don't believe it will let you get the update. In which case, I understand you wanting a manual way to get it and apply it. Unfortunately, I don't know if someone has packaged it up and put it out somewhere for people to get it yet.

The only thing I would be leery of is, if you plan on putting it on T-Mobile anyway, you might be better off waiting for T-Mobile to release their update, and apply it after you activate the service with them.

Or, I could be completely misunderstanding your issue, and the correct way to resolve it.

if its rooted.. you cant get the update, well you can.. but it wont work. you will have to download a rom, and install it.. go to the rooted section.. they can point you in the right direction

You won't be able to get the update then. T-Mobile hasn't released it yet. Even though the phone was originally AT&T, since it is now T-Mobile, you won't be able to update it. Well, not without rooting again and using some other ROM. You'll have to wait for T-Mobile to release it.

I don't think this is correct... historically, you'd get the update when your original carrier released the update. Even though your radio is unlocked, your phone is still running your carrier branded version of android, so you should get the update when your original carrier (AT&T) releases the update.

Sort of correct, and I am working on guesswork for some of it, since I have only used Sprint. When it does the update, it is contacting the active carrier to get the update. Even though AT&T have the update, and the phone originally was on AT&T, it is now on T-Mobile. When it requests the update it is asking T-Mobile for it, and they don't have it. Same reason why many phones can't be updated if they don't have any service even if they have a wifi connection. Technically, they CAN still be updated, but you have to download the package another way. I haven't needed it so I haven't seen the package anywhere, though I'm sure someone has it. I don't know if it would require root to do it.

I haven't done anything other than official updates since my days with my HTC Mogul and Hero. I assume you would do it through a PC connected via USB, at least to get the file on there. My terminology is not so great, but I think it is called an RUU, or something like that. Again, I don't know where you would get it offhand, and I'm not sure whether it would cause problems on T-Mobile if you weren't rooted.

Anyway, I'm sure there are other people more well versed around here who can tell if I am way off base. Wouldn't be the first time.

Details on the 4.3 Verizon update are expected tomorrow.

Verizon HTC One Android 4.3 details expected tomorrow | Pocketnow

First it was the end of September, and then it was the end of October. After that it was delayed a month and would be pushed out by the end of November for sure. Nope. Android 4.3 isn't coming to Verizon until December now. Were you waiting for the punchline? The Android 4.4 update is still "On track" for January.

Default Latest update removed alpha numeric keypad

Supposedly called the T9 keypad .
Like the title says, i installed the update available from today 18-12-2013 and now the alpha-numeric keypad for typing text messages has disappeared , when i go to input options theres only 3 options

qwerty standard
azerty standard
qwertz standard

before the update, the alpha-numeric keypad or whatever it was called used to be there alongside these 3 keyboard types.

There's no way i'm going to use a normal keyboard to type all my messages out on as it takes about 500 times longer than a normal numeric keypad does.

Is there anyway to uninstall this update or roll it back ..... this is one of the most annoying things to ever happen on my otherwise perfect phone. HTC One
