Version: 1.25.502.12
Here is some information regarding the update two weeks ago for AT&T models as well as the most recent 1.25.502.12 update. .

From the site: (regarding update 2 weeks ago)

Small update that fixes a few things in regards to the Media Link HD, which AT&T gave out to those who preordered HTC's latest and greatest. Specifically, some folks hadn't been able to connect to HTC's high-def streamer because of a software glitch. That glitch has been fixed and is now ready to download. Can already say the change to the home/back key is improved!
Wonder what "New Sprint Zone Client" is - something to watch us users or slow down our already crap network Arrgh

No mention of camera improvements here either:

Sprint Community: HTC One: HTC One Software Updates

It'd be nice if such improvements are included in the ever-ambiguous "bug fixes",mentioned in the OP.

Not sure of HTC's track record w/details on updates, but,I've seen 1st hand updates from other mfgs. that included unmentioned additions/subtractions/fixes/etc.....

Not always a good thing,I can do w/o such surprises.

I don't want this update, is there an install step AFTER the download? I want to get rid of the notification but, all I get is download or later.

Yes there is a step after which asks you if you want to install now or later. I would bet it will keep reminding you but I am not sure.

Default Service Update

I just got a service update on my HTC one. It was a 30 mb package which included Blink Feed Fixes as well as a Sprint Zone update. I thought it would have 4.2.2 but I am still at 4.1.2. Anyone else get this? Are we still going to get 4.2.2?

Searching around for that question yields a lot of "very soon" remarks (espcially wrt Verizon) from an Android site here and a pundit there.

This was just a very basic fix. I think the only reason they rolled it out so quick was because of the Blinkfeed crash. I don't expect 4.2 to hit us for months for the vanilla users. I am sure we will have plenty of ROMS with it though.

Home and back buttons are more sensitive and I'm sure the phone is quicker/more responsive.

So I just noticed something...

If you long-hold "Home" and get to the Google Now screen, you used to be able to hit the menu and get a "Search with Camera" option where you could point your camera at an object and if it recognized it it would pull up the appropriate Google search.

I don't have that anymore after the update.

Strangely enough it didn't do it. I used to have Google Now AND my Search From Camera working together.

I'll try a restart.

Article- Apparently the 2.5 update removed this feature.

'Search With Camera' Has Been Removed From Google Search, And We Have No Idea Why

Disabling google now (sorry this does not fix integration of search in google now) , or reverting to version 2.4 of google now may restore functionality

That's odd, not that I used it much but I liked knowing it was there when I wanted to use it but for now we'll never know...

UPDATE:
Here is some information regarding the update two weeks ago for AT&T models. At the bottom you will find some very basic information on the update that rolled out today. Currently there is not a detailed changelog.

It's a small, 269KB update, takes just a minute or so to do, and basically makes your life seem a little brighter. And fixes the Media Link HD connection.

There are not currently any official update notes for this software update today, the only available notes are in the previous release. I did add notes at the bottom of my post regarding the sketchy update information. Hopefully someone can come out with a list of what was updated.

Here are some basic notes regarding the new update today, though there is nothing official:

Minor updates...

One of the biggest bummers of this update is that with Beats Audio on the external speakers are quieter than without, yet there is still serious compression with the BA on. I am NOT impressed. The reason for this though, may be because people were blowing the speakers.

HTC One Still Not Selling As Well As The Galaxy S4 | Android News - AndroidHeadlines.com
"As far as returns go, the blog reports that the HTC One has been seeing more returns due to dead pixels and blown out speakers. ”The HTC One seems to have a problem with dead pixels and blown speakers, but it’s not a major issue to our customers yet,” a reliable store representative told the Examiner."

I'd suppose that when you have a phone that can play like the One does, you're going to have higher expectations of it's performance. I imagine that most people who buy this phone are turning the volume to the max and blasting tunes cause they can.

I just got the update on AT&T also. The Back and Home buttons now have no lag so I'm happy for that!

I don't expect to see carrier versions for at least a month or two at a minimum.
They have to install all their bloat first.

I am running an international rom myself.
A few out there do work... but some have serious issues when run on the US variants.

Default HTC One ATT updated. Not 4.2.2 though??

I checked to see if my phone had the software update yet and when I clicked the update button my phone started to update. It went through everything took about 5 minutes and then the phone restarted and nothing changed. Still 4.1 and still same sense 5. Anyone know what the update is or was for??

I believe it was a minor bug fix update. The update for 4.2 isn't even out for unlocked devices, so you still have a little bit to wait for that.

Settings>about Look at the software revision. It should be 1.27.531.8 . If it isn't then do the system update. It was just minor fixes.

Default After update, speaker got quieter. Why?

I noticed that my HTC One speaker got noticeably quieter once an update rolled out a few weeks ago and it must be due to that. Has anyone had this problem? Its not rooted on 4.1.2 and software version 1.27.531.8 on T-Mobile.

Who else has this problem? Does anyone know of a solution?

There was a small percentage of people that were blowing out the speakers so they rolled out the update to address that issue.

WELCOME TO ANDROID FORUMS Johnnyboi1337!

I have the updated T-MOBILE version & haven't experienced any problems w/the speakers.

Only thing I can think of would be to toggle BEATS on & off. If you have any other after-market/3rd party audio app,I'd disable it for troubleshooting purposes.

Should the problem persist,a Factory Reset more often than not will take care of the inexplicable,Especially after a software/firmware update.

Back-up any media/data/settings that you want to quickly restore before performing a Factory Reset, whether it be the cloud,or,your PC. Should you need info on this subject,HTC's website has you covered.

Please keep us posted on your outcome.

Yes, not only did they reduce the volume, they also upped the compression ratio making anything played out of the external speakers almost painful to listen to. Now that you can get s-off I plan to root so I can get the old set up back, and so I can get android 4.2.2. I'll try to remember to pm you with the results if you would like.

Sprint update rolling out-

Sprint July 17th, 2013

Version: 1.32.651.2
Minor updates...237.84MB
-HD Voice support (enhanced audio in calls)
-Sprint Music added to the ringtones list.

Updated... The update just rolled out to me as well

Update states:
-Call quality improvements
-Other minor bugfixes

Weighs in at 237.84 MB though, so I would say that is a little more than minor updates....

Details will be updated as they become available in the first post

Now downloading Software update: 1.31.651.2 (237.84 MB)

Also not a fan so far of the new Google Maps eliminating the Navigation program and incorporating it into maps no so easy to figure out.
