Audio quality of Voice Recordings
Since it seems that the built-in voice recording (thanks to codec or software issues) is always extreemly sub-par (except for the iPhone), I always used the TapeRecorder app with my Android Phones.
I can select Wav, Mp3, and a slew of other codecs and settings, and always ended up using 260Khz Mp3 mode for recording.
With my Samsung Epic and my Droid Bionic, the voice recording quality when used with TapeRecorder was OUT OF THIS WORLD.
However, with my Rezound, that doesn't seem to be the case. Whether i record with the front or rear mic selected, all recordings sound muddy.
Any thoughts? Anyone have any luck with a different program?
Actually, this just popped into my head - I will email myself a clip and see if it is, perhaps, the way that the file sounds on the Rezound's speaker for some reason....
**Update** The files sound stunning on my computer... Maybe the speaker just sounds different with these types of files as compared to the other phones.... Music and everything else, however still sounds great.... Odd.
P.S. This is the best phone i have EVER owned!
