Default Pre-Ring Contact Notification

How do I enable the setting for the pre call contact audible announcement prior to my ringtone? (Call From?)

It was working but now I may have disabled it.

Thx

Are you sure the phone does this? I never saw this in the user manual when I read thru it. I use the app Announcify to do this on my Incredible. Try that app if you need it.

Yeah, I don't recall any HTC phones doing this. My old LG EnvTouch did it by default and loved it; which is why I have that the Announcify app on my current phone.

I miss this feature. In call setting on my droid x i had it announce the caller before ringtone. It was really helpful on screening when my phone was in my pocket.
