Default Rezound slow lately? Throttling back data on VZ?

Lately I have noticed my internet is extremely slow on my Rezound. I just did a speed test in a good 4g network with "5" bars of service & got 1002k download with 3306 upload, best upload speed in a long time. My last three tests since March average 1k down & 1k up. In Feb I was doing 2k down & 1k up. Pages are taking a really long time to load, is Verizon throttling back internet or is the Rezound slow lately? I have unlimited Data, text & phone FWIW.

I seem to recall that Verizon will throttle back once you go over a certain amount of data. So if you are a heavy user, that may be why.

After quick search, stumbled across this (pdf link):

I doubt your being throttled. I've been using the MHS on my Rezound as my primary internet connection for the past 6 months. I watch a lot of Netflix/Hulu and so it's not unusual for me to have over 30GB of usage in a given month.

Thankfully in another month and a half I'll be back home and using Fios.

I think that verizon service is spotty especially 4G. My phone acts fast or slow depending on a given day and time.

Verizon does throttle based on usage versus your bill cycle date. I dont think everyone gets throttled though. Its probably a random report.
Your phone is not a car. Having a Seidio Innovation case with Anti-Glare screen protectors is not the same as having a Rev Hard RHK-S2000 turbo kit. Lets move along..

What websites are you visiting? Ive noticed this website is somewhat slow on the Rezound. I personally blame the ads. I have yet to find a good browser that can handle the 4g speeds of verizon's network. Try deleting your browsing history, clearing your cache and rebooting your phone.

I'm willing to bet that the data is bottlenecking on the phone, not the network.
