Yup, I encountered this problem today too while trying to using navigation. Was not happy! Crashes the phone and reboots in a messed up state. Needs a hard boot (remove battery) to fix it.

After they/we changed to ICS they had this nice pretty navi-girl's voice.
While it was working a few weeks ago we were out of town (in a rental car from the ariport)... the voice will suddenly change to another person's voice (like an older woman's voice and slower). After a minute or two, it will then change back to the new/younger navi-girl's voice. It's like she went out on a bathroom or smoke break!!! That was a good laugh each hour or half hour when the voice changed to the other person.

Then they totallly crashed it with the maps/navi update last week :\

^Yep, same here. And I've heard of the same phenomenon from a few friends with Rezounds.

So over 2 weeks and all the brilliant programmers at google can't get us a fix? wtf. You know, this is what drives people away from android to iphone. the iphone may be a locked environment, but it works inside of it.

Version 6.11.1 appears to be working for me. I've had it running for a couple minutes and will let it run in the background as I continue with my day.

Working well with both 4.3.605.2 and 3.14.605.12, tried Navigation tonight and worked flawlessly, even the heat issues I had with Maps 6.9.2 are gone, runs cool as can be!
