Question starting the complaints...

I figured since some of us have had the phone for longer than a few days we can start being brats and knit pick. But I want to say that I actually love this phone more than my mother but there has been one thing I've noticed is missing. Some of the camera setting features are gone or placed somewhere else. The main and almost only thing I've been annoyed with is the no option to delete, share, rotate, or edit (in any way) a photo in full view. If im an ass and am missing something I apologize but that's it. Done and done

You can add a profiles widget.

Personalize -> Widget -> Settings -> Profiles

It will let you switch from normal, vibrate, and silent.

I dont have the sensation but im running sense 3.0 on my thunderbolt. When im viewing a pic in fullscreen mode I can tap it to bring tabs up at the bottom. There are about 5 but I know one is to share and another is to delete the pic. Another tab is effects. Rotate left + rotate right are under effects, along with cropping, etc. Hope this helps.

Well the gallery and its settings are the same on the mytouch 4g...you'll get used to it, the options are there just not when pic is full screen and they are there if you review the pic full screen with in the camera app. As far as speed it is no faster than the mytouch either, but it is running twice the features so I think it evens out in the long run. Its not slow by any means but not as fast as I thought it might be.

I've had a few bugs, but I love the phone enough to look past them for now.

Random reboot. Has happened about three times in two days.

Battery inconsistencies. Seems to be amazing right off the charger but at various points it seems to run down at a faster rate. I've read that this phone performs great in this department but as of now I'm not sure about those claims.

Sense Reboots. Every once in a while, when going back to the home screen, Sense appears to reboot (white "HTC screen").

I changed my number on the Sim to my old number, do you think this has anything to do with the speed?

You're running sense 3 on tbolt??? Thought HTC made some excuse that they weren't releasing it on tbolt because it wasn't dual core and couldn't handle it. I'm assuming you are rooted and found some sense 3 rom??

Uhh . . . maybe I'm reading this wrong but you just use the bottom volume button and turn the volume down until it goes to silent

Anyone have static on the screen when you open your camera? I had this problem on the desire after I replaced the lcd and touch but don't know why this would happen to a new phone...? I really don't want to have to send this in!

You got fourteen days to return it for a brand new (not refurb) replacement. Just exchange it. That's what I would do.

To me, it seems like the Sensation runs at a slower frame rate, for both Flash video, and via my DishNetwk adapter, than my previous G2x. It's almost like watching on my Motor Defy. Just got it today...will see if I can optimze some of the settings to improve performance.

I have two small pieces of dust toward the bottom of the screen that are annoying. Probably going to exchange it at Walmart.

Many times the phone will just reload HTC sense when I hit the home button. I remember it does the same to MT4g. So it is a HTC sense thing.

Not a lot of complaints actually. I just moved to the sensation 4g from the venerable nexus one. My hesitation is that I prefer stock Android... however in the last ywar I go hooked on launcher pro, which works great on the sensation....so sense launcher is nicely pushed out of the way. I was able to replace that crappy gallery with Gallery HD, which perfectly mimics the cool gallery on the nexus one. I was also able to replace the nexus one car mode with one from the market that works fine...

The last remaining issue I have is with sense based apps, like the contact manager, being nearly impossible to replace. My main issue with it, and all sense based nonesense, is that it is seemingly impossible to change the font size. 10pt font on that large screen makes for awkward squinting. Does anyone know of a way to change the font size on sense apps globally?

I went to tmobile today to play with the sensation 4g, and I will say it is built like a champ, t actually reminds me of the nexus one, felt great in the hand, very slim, rounded edges, I was very impressed. As far as Sense 3.0, pretty cool, like the carousel effect, subtle small changes, but looks a bit cleaner. I was not that impressed with the 4g speeds though, I was in Delray Beach FL, not sure how the 4g is in that area. Overall, if I had tmobile, I would get this phone, no question, but awaiting my evo 3d friday, but I figure they have to be pretty similar

As with all my other smart phone's OEM/third party batteries, run time improved after a free complete charge/discharge cycles. I'm getting about a day w/my normal use...was getting 2 days w/my Defy.

FWOW, I live in an area where my signal is good (-55dBm to -72dBm). However at work, where signal is weak, will be a different story.

I don't like after using the camera, the screen brightness stays at 100% without going back to what's before.

A few random HTC reboots (white screen with logo) and the phone gets HOT but other than that no bugs yet and battery life is much improved from my old phone, and charges a heck of a lot faster. I don't like that the camera app doesn't offer a Night scene mode and editing photos is joke, no way to adjust the brightness/contrast after the fact, only before you take the photo. I'm hoping an app can help with that though.

Same problem here. I found that if I use a program called Better Cut from the Market to create the shortcut, they icons seem to stay (at least they survived the last reboot!). This is probably something that will be fixed in a software update soon.

You have to create a folder named whatever you want the album to be, using a file manager or your computer. Then move the pics you want into that folder and the new album will display in the gallery.

I have never had a full reboot take place by it self, but have had the Sens 3.0 reload when returning to the home screen or because of my task manager. In my case the first cause was by a market downloaded task killer. I have sense set an appropriate ignore list and the problem has not returned. The second cause was by moving apps to the SD card and not creating new widgets and restarting the phone afterwards. My handset only gets hot if I am surfing the net or streaming video. This is normal. It stays cold all the rest of the time.

The BatteryTime Lite app I use reports the battery temps. While the Sensation definitely feels like it's getting really hot, with heavy use it only reaches the same 104* peak that my Slide would. I think the biggest difference is the aluminum construction and thinner design transmits that heat more and you can actually feel it on the front of the phone instead of only through the back...

I have this same issue. I think it might have something to do with moving apps to SD. Either way, it's the phone's fault, not the Android Market or the app Devs.

I hope you're right. Because my phone gets REALLY hot after playing games for about 15 or 20 minutes. It gets so hot it makes my hands sweat, then sliding my fingers across the screen becomes difficult.

I've had it go to the white splash screen a couple of times while trying to exit an app. My phone also displays wallpaper at a poor resolution. I'm not sure if my screen is bad or if the pictures I'm using aren't optimized for this size screen.
