Default T-Mobile BIS data plan with 4G phone

Good morning,

I am looking to purchase an unbranded/unlocked HTC Sensation and I currently have the BBIS data plan from T-Mobile. Will my plan be compatible with this phone? Is anyone currently using the same data plan? My plan is pretty cheap and of course I'd like to hold onto it for as long as I can.

I don't know if they're still doing it but I had a BlackBerry 9700 and switched to a Nexus S and received a message from T-Mobile to call and change data plans.

Swapping SIM cards worked for me -- until T-Mobile sent the text. After that my data was shut down until I called.

Previously I had done this quite a bit (swapped the SIM between BB and Android) without issue.

Can't say with certitude that they'll find out - however the above is my most recent experience of about 6 months ago.
