CWRM updating

I have an older version of clockwork recovery and every time I let the battery completely drain I have to pull the battery out and start to charge it in a different device.

I also have touch recovery installed.

My question is, if I update clockwork recovery will anything bad happen with touch recovery?

Any answer is appreciated
