Help phone shuts off and on

I had a service with T mobile and decided to transfer my service to straight talk. I have the android htc sensation and i kept getting an error message saying my memory was too low and to delete some things so i did. Now the phone will keep powering off and on and i cant make calls are anything now. Hope some can advise me on what to do next. Iam about to throw the phone in the trash.
