Sensation XE internal storage

Hi all,
Does any body know if it is possible and how to put files, not apps, onto the internal storage of the Sensation XE? When I connect to PC I can only access the SD. HTC Sync doesn't work for internal either.
Any solutions? Thanks

*If possible I would like to stay away form rooting.
